There have been many 'Veronica Mars' movie casting updates throughout this past week. But today, it became official that Krysten Ritter will be returning for the feature film adaption of our favorite cult teen drama.
Krysten Ritter appeared in eight episodes of 'Veronica Mars' season 2 as Gia Goodman. Ritter had this to say about returning: "I'm thrilled to be reprising my role of Gia Goodman in the Veronica Mars movie... Veronica Mars has a special place in my heart because it was my first big acting job... and it was also one of the most lovely on-set experiences you could ever ask for. This will truly be an awesome shoot, not only because we all get to be reunited... but because of the revolutionary way this all was able to come to life!"
There are now fifteen people who have been confirmed to be cast in the film. Out of all the announcements this week, this has been one of the more exciting (along with Mac, Weevil and Madison). Stay tuned for more updates!
