'Pretty Little Liars' said happy birthday to Emily in this week's episode, 'Into the Deep'. Things weren't all birthday wishes and cake though. Once Mona confesses to killing Wilden (but did she really?), Ashley is allowed bail. However, the bail is set at 1 million dollars since Wilden was a cop.
Paige plans to hold a surprise party for Emily at her aunt's lake house and she tells Emily that Ems should take a year out before college to practice her swimming and start training. At the Rear Window Brew, Maggie tells Ezra that she's planning on moving to Seattle with Malcolm. Maggie looks so different, I thought they recast the actress.
Emily meets with a swimming coach, that Paige has referred her to so she can discuss her future. Unfortunately, the coach had no idea that Emily had an injury and he has to tell her that she won't be in the pool for six months. Meanwhile, Pastor Ted overhears Hanna talking about her mother's bail. Han is becoming frantic because she isn't sure if Ashley will ever get out of jail. At school Spencer and Aria worry that Mona will tell the police that Mona was bullied by the Liars into confessing. Although, they see that they have bigger things to worry about when they stumble upon Jenna in the courtyard. Things are starting to heat up!
Ashley's bail was posted anonymously, she thinks that this was just Tom's way of getting around Isabelle. Additionally, Ashley has to wear one of those tacky house arrest things, like Lindsay Lohan had. Tensions are high between Maggie and Ezra so he goes to see Veronica for some legal advice but things aren't looking good for him since his name wasn't on Malcolm's birth certificate. It's party time! Everyone hides waiting for Emily to arrive and when she does she's furious at Paige for not telling the coach about her injury.
This party is a disaster! Aria is not pleased when Jake shows up with a blonde bombshell, named Kim, as a date. She's not the only unwanted party goer as Jenna and Shana soon arrive. Spencer is itching for information (what else is new?) so she goes straight to the blind source. BTW, Jenna is going blind again, bummer. Outside, Emily and Paige finally admit that they might not be together next year, it was totes emotion. Back in Rosewood, Mona calls Hanna while packing her bags. Is she going on a little vacation? Also, Ted has come to visit Ashley and she finds out that Ted posted her bail. I think that Ted might have killed Wilden... Maybe? Maybe not? At the party, Emily, Aria and Jake go in search of Spencer but inside they find Jenna's bony ass floating face down in the lake. Ding dong, the wicked bitch is dead!
Okay so Jenna isn't really dead, they got her breathing. But Emily discovers that someone might have hit Jenna since the back of her head was bleeding. Shana reveals that Jenna was afraid of Cece so might Cece have tried to off Jenna? Aria and Jake return to Rosewood and get very close when Aria's jealously dies down. What does this mean for Ezria? Catching up with Mona, she's just back chilling at Radley. I mean, where else would they put a psycho self-confessed cop killer? We also see Red Coat sneaking into the DiLaurentis house and 'A' playing a nice tune on the piano, then sending the sheet music to Toby. There's just 2 more episodes until World War 'A' (the Summer Finale)! It looks like there's a lot more surprises and twists on the way!
