9O21O: Here Comes Honey Bye Bye Recap/Review
If I had to pick one word to best describe the latest episode of '9O21O', named 'Here Comes Honey Bye Bye', then that word would be 'horrendous'. Actually, I feel like 'horrendous' is a word that best describes the show as a whole. The episode is set into motion with Naomi and Max at a couples therapy session. If you ask me then everyone on this show needs therapy. The therapist tells them that they need to figure out what it is that makes them happy because Naomi has abandoned her professional life for Max. This is so true, Naomi's professional struggles was a big storyline last season and this season there has been no mention of Naomi's work. Elsewhere, Silver begs Teddy for his forgiveness before he tells her that he's trying to get the embryos destroyed. Their relationship has fallen so far, it was something that was great about this show and now it's hard to watch. At Dixon's recording studio, he has Adrianna sing some advertising jingles because the recording studio needs to make the money back. Megan then shows up (I thought she left? I'm so confused) to tell Dixon that she can't afford school anymore so she might have to move away. Meanwhile, Annie is recovering at Liam's house. She got out of hospital fast. Dixon comes for a visit and they end up talking about Riley. Somehow Dixon knew that Riley left for surgery so he tells Annie who then feels like she's in love with Riley. Side note: Anyone else notice how Debbie only showed up when Dixon was in the hospital? I wonder if Harry even knows that his children have a death wish? Why does no-one care about Annie getting shot!? Anyway, Liam has been taking out his anger at some kind of fight-club-type-place where he knocks out some guy and then gets in trouble for it.
Navid basically feels like he has no point which is true, so when he meets one of Teddy's old friends, Campbell (played by Glee's Grant Gustin), he makes it his mission to join the secret elite society that Teddy's friend is involved in. Whatever. Since Annie is now in love with Riley, she's making Dixon take her to see him. While at a rest stop, Dixon calls Megan to ask her to take over managing stuff at the record label for a few days to which she agrees. After he hangs up, Dixon describes Megan as 'the right person'. UGH! This show! So when Dixon and Megan get old together he's gonna tell their children "sorry kids but grandpa died in a car accident and almost took daddy with him, but that's okay cause I met your mom while dealing with my many issues." Anyway, Silver and Noami discuss the Teddy stuff at Silver's apartment and then Naomi tells her that she took a job planning a children's beauty pageant. At fight-club-place, Liam gets kicked out cause he's way too violent. Maybe he should take anger management classes or something.
Adrianna has to sing at the pageant that Naomi is organizing because the record label needs money. At some hospital somewhere, Annie finally arrives to tell Riley how she feels about him. Back at the pageant, Silver is helping out and feels bad about the baby thing again because of all the children. Then Naomi's old boss, Rachel, shows up. Rachel tells Naomi that the girl who took Naomi's place is now in Tokyo following her dreams.
Silver breaks down again but this time Navid is here to listen and later talks to Teddy about Silver's troubles. Although, I'm wondering what's happening with Silver's cancer because we haven't heard about that since last season! I mean, seriously!? At the hospital, Dixon realizes that he needs to keep Megan in his life so he uses the record label's money to set up a scholarship for her. Back in Beverly Hills, Liam and Max play some video games which makes Max see he's been missing out on a lot in life recently. Backstage at the pageant, Megan tells Adrianna about the scholarship. After this, Adrianna performs onstage while Max and Naomi fight backstage because Max wants to go back to school but she wants to move on with her life.
Navid holds a party for Campbell's weird society so they'll let him join but a grumpy Liam kinda wrecks the party and then moves it to the fight-club-place so all the guys can fight each other. I'm so bored. When the pageant is over, Teddy tells Silver that he won't take away her chance to have a baby. Backstage, Megan delivers money to Adrianna that came from the jingles she made but when she calls to find out about the company's total, they tell her about the scholarship. She then yells at Dixon and tells him that she will stop at nothing to get out of her contract. Megan is also seriously angry so she decides to leave (for real this time?) At Liam's house, Annie calls the hospital to talk to Riley but they tell her that he's dead. DEAD! HE'S DEAD! You gotta laugh at this show, I bet the writers sat around and were like "should we kill him... why not?" I don't really care about Riley though.
Annie texts Dixon to come over so she can tell him about Riley. While Campbell accepts Navid and Liam into his weird society. At Teddy's lawyer's office, Silver finds out that the contract states that only a surrogate can carry the baby. So Teddy did this out of spite? Wow, that's not the Teddy we know. Finally, Naomi receives a note from Max which says that he's peacing out and going back to school for a while. I don't really care about Max either. I have one last thing to say about 9O21O: When is this horrendous season gonna be over?
