The liars (plus their moms) were all put in 'Hot Water' on this week's episode of 'Pretty Little Liars'. Just when I thought that it couldn't get any crazier after last week, it gets crazier. The same night of the elevator accident, the girls all go to the Rear Window Brew to calm their nerves with some coffee. They consider who Big 'A' could be but Spencer is still a little out of it. Perhaps it's Cece, but that doesn't seem likely to the liars. Then Officer Wilden breaks up the party and Hanna spills the (coffee) beans about them knowing he was on a boat with Cece and Alison. Wilden doesn't really scare me because he's kinda pathetic.
The next day, Hanna is out walking with Ashley when they see Wilden shove Cece into a car. Ashley asks what's happening so Hanna tells her about the relationship the girls think Wilden had with Ali. At school, Hanna confesses to Emily that she told her mother about Alison and Wilden. Then Emily tells us that Jason is fine and is laying low in Virgina. That's good because I thought that 'A' snatched him at the end of last episode. During lunch, Aria goes to Ezra's apartment and actually finds Ezra there (Wesley has left at this point and gone back to school). The two make up and discuss Ezra's new son. This was a cute scene because Ezra told Aria that he really needs her in his life.
Spencer needed some time alone so she's chilling in an empty classroom until Ella comes in and tries to talk to Spencer about what's going on. I loved this scene, there should be more Ella and Spencer scenes. After school, Paige is still trying to find answers behind Emily's back. However, Emily and Hanna stumble upon Paige trying to find out who wore the Queen of Hearts costume at Halloween so they tag along. In the girl's bathrooms, Aria tries to talk to a sad Spencer. This was another good scene because Aria talked of Team Sparia which is my favorite team, it's way better than The 'A' Team. At Rosewood's costume store, Emily, Hanna and Paige arrive to talk to Shana about who bought the Queen of Hearts costume. Although, Shana is being real annoying and won't allow the girls that information so Hanna distracts her while Emily sends an email of the store's sales to her email address. I noticed at the end of this scene that Emily has four apps to update on her iPhone but then I thought that Ems would be too busy with 'A' and Ali's murder mystery to update apps. Afterwards, Aria is at the Rear Window Brew when Ezra's scary mother shows up. I hate Ezra's mom so much, she's the ultimate worst. It is revealed that she paid Maggie to keep her and Ezra's son, Malcolm, a secret.
Emily begins to think that Paige and Shana had too much tension at the costume store so Paige must have cheated. However, Hanna feels like things are never what they seem and she believes that Paige stayed faithful. I think Paige cheated though. Meanwhile, Ashley is having a lovely dinner at a restaurant but Wilden ruins it. He basically tells Ashley to keep Hanna quiet but she isn't giving into his dirty tricks. At the Brew, Wren finds Spencer and asks if she would consider going on a date with him. Later, they have a nice date which ends with a kiss.
Aria goes to Ezra's with some food but she walks in on Ezra and his mother having a fight. He's being pretty awesome because he's sticking up for his relationship with Aria and how the whole keeping Malcolm a secret thing was wrong. Aria gets so turned on by Ezra's hero complex so she gives him a big kiss! At Emily's house, she questions Paige about Shanna. Paige comes clean and tells Emily that she had a relationship with Shana the previous Summer so it was after the masquerade ball but before 'That Night' so she technically didn't cheat because they weren't really together again yet. I'm so sorry for judging you, Paige, please forgive me. On the streets, Spencer is walking home when she sees Big 'A'. I'm shouting 'get her, Spencer!' But she gets away. When Ashley is done with dinner, she calls Hanna because she now believes that Ali might have been in a relationship with Wilden but Hanna doesn't answer. So Ashley gets in her car because she's homeward bound. However, we see Wilden following in a cop car behind her.
Spencer comes home after a fun date but Melissa rains on her parade when she tells Spence that Wren is 'bad company'. By the way, Melissa got a haircut! At Ezra's apartment, crisis strikes because his mother owns Maggie's condo and is attempting to kick Maggie and Malcolm to the streets. While driving home, Ashley gets pulled over by Wilden. At Spencer's house, Spence decides to take a nice, relaxing steam because her house is so darn fancy that it has it's own steam room. Back with Ashley, Wilden is really threatening her so she runs him over with her car because she's so distraught. What is even happening right now!!?
Emily finds Cece packing to get out of town. Cece says that she thought that Wilden got Ali pregnant and then killed her so she's gonna bounce because she doesn't want to be next. Then Emily questions her about what she was doing outside Ali's house the night Alison disappeared. Cece tells her that Melissa really wanted some videos that Ali had and she begged Cece to talk to her so she did. Alison left to go get the videos but she went missing. Lastly, we learn that Melissa took the picture of Alison, Wilden and Cece on the boat. In the steam room, it gets too much for Spencer so she tries to get out but she learns that she has been locked in by 'A' who left a message that says: "Steamy with Wren, steamy with me -A." Spencer cries out for Melissa but Aria comes to save her. Things aren't looking great for Melissa. Spencer says that this is revenge for hooking up with Wren, Aria doesn't understand so it's time to call the girls together to tell them about Toby. At Hanna's house, she finds Ashley being real quiet and sitting in the dark. Hanna gets the truth out of her so they return to the scene of the crime where they find an empty cop car but no body. Did Wilden get up and walk away? Has 'A' taken the body? Also, mother and daughter are being filmed on a cop cam which filmed the hit and run too. In 'A's lair, we see 'A' making a flower arrangement that says 'with deepest sympathy'. There's only four episodes left in this hectic season! I have no idea what's coming next but I can't wait to see!
