Teen Drama Tidbits: Pretty Little Liars Summer Finale Scoop, Carrie Diaries Season 2 Details and More!

There's so much happening in the 'Pretty Little Liars' Summer Finale, premiering August 27th on ABC Family.

When tweeting about the last installment of the summer run executive producer, I. Marlene King, had this to say: "Just watched the latest cut of the summer finale. Holy mother of God! Hearts may actually stop beating." If that's not enough then we also have the promise of finding out who killed Wilden, King confirmed on Twitter. Also, Norman Buckley, director of many past episodes, has directed the episode and says that we will find out who the biggest liar is.

  • Amy B. Harris, 'Carrie Diaries' executive producer, sat down with The Hollywood Reporter to talk about the 'Sex and the City' prequel's second season. When talking about the casting of the young Samantha Jones, Harris said that Lindsey Gort "...just had that thing: funny and sexy." In addition, you might remember that Stanford was alluded to in the season 1 finale but Harris says that they've decided to not bring that character on right away because "...we really wanted Samantha's entrance to be her own. But I think he could very well come in this season." When asked if any other 'Sex and the City' characters would be appearing Harris stated: "Not so far, but... There's still the very good possibility that some more people are coming in." We're also told that this season "each episode is really 50 percent Manhattan, 50 percent family in Castlebury." Lastly, Harris was asked if there was a chance of more than 13 episodes this season to which she respond: "There's always the possibility for more, but Sex and the City did 13 or 18 [episodes]... and we don't want to have to push story... in order to tell 22 episodes of television." How pumped for the new season are you now?
  • At the 2013 San Diego Comic-Con, Daniel Gillies told reporters that now that Katherine is human "...She's all the more sexy... I think the more humble she becomes, the more madly in love with her [Elijah] will fall." Humble? Are we talking about the same Katherine? But could there be a reunion for the love birds on either 'The Originals' or 'The Vampire Diaries'?
  • When talking about the change on the 'Glee' set, Chris Colfer admits to Entertainment Weekly that "...things will be very different." Colfer hasn't started work on set yet but he says "...I'm sure they'll be difficult at first. But... we'll see. I think I'm positive."
