9O21O: The Sea Change Recap/Review

9O21O is just ridiculous, I can't believe that I watch this show every week like what even happened in this week's episode 'The Sea Change'? I feel like they're trying to make this show be taken seriously but it just turns out like a joke. Anyway, this episode started with the newlyweds, Naomi and Max, getting ready to set off on their honeymoon to Ibiza. That is until Max's weird business partner, Alec, waltzes in with a stack of gossip magazines that all have comments from Max's ex-fiance, Madison. Apparently Madison is a cosmetic heiress (did we know this?) and she's so mad about Max leaving her at the alter that she's speaking to any tabloid that will listen. Why do the magazines even care about this or Madison? I for one think that Alec set this up but we don't have conformation on that. Cut to Liam's bar (or what's left of it), Adrianna and Navid are helping Liam clean up the wreckage that is his bar and Liam and Adrianna are helping Navid clean up the wreckage that is his life. Then Adrianna's Vegas baggage (Taylor) shows up and gives Adrianna his number and she looks kind of happy about it. Meanwhile, Annie is helping Dixon move back into the apartment. This boy suffered a major car accident and he has no scratches on him, just a neck brace. Really? Seriously? Adrianna then comes in and basically spills the beans on her Vegas hook up when Dixon asks about the new club/bar consultant and she says "we didn't talk much or do anything else," um, okay Adrianna. At the hospital, Silver is getting a check up and to thank Teddy for having a bastard child with her, she gives him (what I'm guessing is) a porno. Back at the bar, Vanessa tells Liam that she had hidden cameras installed and she saw what went down with the fire. Translation = Liam is Vanessa's bitch. Vanessa is starting to scare me and not in a fun way.

When we come back, Annie and Dixon are at the physical rehab center as he tries to get his life back on track. Annie gets all pissed at some dude (Riley) because he's telling Dixon like it is and then she finds out that he's in a wheelchair too. Riley then asks Annie if she feels sorry for him now that she knows that he's in a wheelchair and is sex out of the question. Annie says "no, but yeah," are you serious, Annie? Poor wheelchair guy, he's gonna have to roll himself to bed tonight and think of the hurtful comments that Annie has said to him. At the beach, Naomi decides to have a wedding reception in Malibu at a winery, um are these guys of legal drinking age? I don't think so. Although, it's nice that we're going to Malibu for an episode, it shakes things up. Also, at the beach Adrianna brings up how she almost killed Silver. It's still too soon, Adrianna. TOO SOON! I miss bipolar Silver, she was interesting. However, Silver is probably my favorite character in this season so far and I'm really liking her new hair. Back at the apartment, Annie is being such a helpful sister and then Dixon blows up on her. He is so rude, Annie was just being nice. "Screw you Dixon," as season 2 Annie would say. Then at some strip tease nightclub, Silver is basically begging Navid and Liam for a date to Naomi's wedding reception but she finds out that they both already have dates. Navid is going with some of his dad's old friends (wink) and Liam is going with Vanessa. Better luck next time girl.

Anyway, at Naomi's house Alec pays another visit, this time to tell Max that he got them an interview with the Colton Brothers who are important in the video game world. But Max isn't there so Naomi takes it upon herself to invite the Colton Brothers to their wedding reception. Noami tells Alec that she should make decisions now because the business is now her's too. It is not! Whatever happened to Naomi's party planning business? Why can't she focus on that and leave Max's business alone? Then at Silver's, we find out that she isn't hopeless and Teddy takes her as his date. Meanwhile, Liam finds out that he has a new place of residence as Vanessa wants him to move in with her. Liam isn't happy about this but he sleeps with Vanessa anyway. Cause why not?

The action then moves to Malibu where Navid shows up with some adult film stars as his dates. At first Naomi thinks that they're hookers but cause they're adult film stars it's okay. Also, Annie is so heartless that she won't even help Dixon down steps. I actually loved Annie here, she didn't give a shit. At the other side of the room, Navid and Liam try to make Silver jealous with their dates. Did Liam get a tan on the drive from Beverly Hills to Malibu? In addition, Naomi throws the Colton Brothers out of the party because she thinks that they are party crashers. This part of the story was so predictable so we'll just wrap it up right here and now: Alec and Naomi got the Colton Brothers to come back to the party, they had a great time, everyone got drunk, Alec now respects Naomi (sorta), the end.

When all this is happening, Silver is getting drunk in the cellar when Teddy comes in and they start to talk about their past relationship. I really appreciated this because they never addressed this before. Although, I didn't like how Teddy said what he said. It's okay though cause he made up for it later and it was kinda true. Then Dixon goes to get Adrianna her wrap to keep his lady warm, but he falls off his wheelchair and just lays there until Annie shows up to help his pathetic ass. While this is going on, Adrianna and Taylor share a moment and a kiss during the party.

(I couldn't help captioning that photo. I'm so sorry, it'll never happen again.) After the party hijinks, Silver and Teddy make up. While Annie yells at Riley again and he basically tells her to shove it and she tells him the same back. Whatever. But, her comes the scene of the night! Vanessa and Liam get into a fight because she's crazy pants and she falls off the balcony and into the ocean. So funny. When Liam calls for help and then goes back to help her, he sees that Vanessa is gone! She is a scary bitch. Not a great episode of 9O21O because it was so stupid but I thought it was at least better than last week's episode. I hope Vanessa comes back for Halloween and tries to kill everyone. That will be fun.

Overall episode score:-
'The Sea Change' = C-
